High Point Village, Living Court, and Cascade House joined forces to celebrate National Assisted Living Week with a picnic at Mud Mt. Dam. This year’s residents enjoyed good food and the opportunity to visit old friends. Foot-stomping music by Chris and Randy McMillan energized the bunch and dancing was the highlight of the day. Assisted living is a care service that fosters choice, dignity, independence and autonomy in our elderly nationwide. All citizens are urged to visit friends and loved ones who reside at these facilities and also to learn more about assisted living services and how they benefit our community.
